DescriptionThis image depicts the Andy Johnston Service Station at 3523 Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the foreground of the image, Ray Carnes stands with a younger man in front of his Ejax Oil Stabilizer car. Only Ray Carnes wears sunglasses. Both men stand with one hand on the vehicle looking towards the camera. Behind the car, the awning of the service station shades the front door. Numerous signs and advertisements can be seen both on the station itself and in the windows of the building. Some of these signs include, location signs, ads for Atlas tires and oil filters, and a sign stating the location of a nearby telephone booth.On View
