DescriptionThis bonnet was a First Holy Communion bonnet worn by a Barbieri child at Immaculate Conception Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The bonnet is made of small intricately crocheted circles that have the appearance of stars. The yarn used is a pale yellow. At the top of the bonnet is a thicker crocheted piece with solid rings interrupted by rings of circles and made in a pale white color. On two opposite sides of the bonnet there are light blue ribbons folded into a flower pattern one strand each hanging down. There is also a strand of ribbon woven in between the crochet around the outer edge of the bonnet. On View
