DescriptionThis image depicts a portion of the Southwest Mesa in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The hills in this image are covered in sand and various desert plants. Some of these plants are beginning to yellow with the change in season. At the bottom of the mesa, flatland stretches into the background. Near the right side of the frame, in the background, is a single volcano.
