DescriptionThis image depicts the "Chevy on a Stick" sculpture on San Mateo Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The statue is of a 1954 Chevy that was salvaged from an Arizona junkyard. The car is situated on top of a 26- foot archway facing West. Both the car and the archway are covered in tiles, arranged in such a way that the midnight blue Chevy appears to be bleeding into the turquoise arch. Directly in front of the camera, a cement pathway can be seen stretching under the archway. The center of the pathway is decorated with turquoise tiles. On View
