DescriptionThis book is a black patterned leather folded binder holding a German edition of the Bible. Hugo Schulte signed the inside cover in 1889 and also signed the first page with his name and date of birth. The front cover and reverse of the leather binder contain a bordered pattern with floral elements and the edges of the book are colored with straggled brown, red, and blue lines. The spine of the book contains text in gold and repeated block patterns of geometric flowers.On View
