DescriptionThis is a flax spinning wheel, traditionally used to turn flax fibers into yarn for textiles. The machine has a rectangular base on which two wheels are situated, one being significantly larger than the other. A handle on the larger wheels allows it to be turned, and grooves around the perimeter of both are where flax can be secured, a string is threaded through this. Two stands on the far right side are where a needle can be secured. On View
