DescriptionSpectators watch from the bleachers as members of the United States cavalry members march along a racetrack at a fairground in New Mexico. The soldiers are wearing uniforms and riding horses between a white picket fence and rail along the inner track of the fairgrounds. Four soldiers sit on horses with their backs to the crowd as the rest of the cavalry parade by. Several of the soldiers are playing instruments as they ride. A group of people sit on a raised platform in the inner part of the fairground area. There are more horses and people and two covered wagons in the background, beyond the track. On View
