11. This is the second new Capitol, occupied in 1900, the first new Capitol after the Palace having burned in 1886. Dedication of this buildin was the occasion for one of the greatest celebrations in Santa Fe history.

12. The structure you just saw is now the Old Capitol, for this is the present State Capitol Complex. The main building is round like the ceremonial kivas of certain Indian pueblos. The territorial architecture is accented by brick coping edging the roof line.

13. The Post Office also shows some type of territorial architecture.
