DescriptionThis envelope is a long horizontal rectangle made of faded brown paper and black printed ink. At the top left corner of the envelope is the name "The White House" in all capitalized letters in blue ink. In the right corner is an ink stamp of a Washington D.C. address and the date it was stamped. To the right of this is another stamp that says "always your zip" in black ink with a red stick on stamp right next to it. The red stamp notes that it was 13 cents and is for U.S. air mail. At the center of the envelope is the address for Rio Grande High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
