DescriptionThe Albuquerque artist, Charles Mattox, prepares his installation of "Homage to Reauleaux" for the Museum of Fine Arts [now the New Mexico Museum of Art] in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He stands in front of a sculpture on a pedestal and inserts pieces. Half of the sculpture is out of the photograph's frame. Charles wears a denim button-down shirt. His hair is short and slicked back and to the side. The sculpture is primarily composed of metal with celestial bands of wire coming from it.
