DescriptionTow large horses called Maud and Major stand beside two employees of the Springer Transfer Company in a dirt lot in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are wagons and hitches in the background. The two men are wearing work shirts and hats and hold the lead ropes of the two horses. Handwriting on the photograph reads, "New Stock -February 1921 -Maud & Major Steel Grey 4-5 2900#".
