DescriptionA man skateboards in the bowl of an empty swimming pool at the Desert Sands Motel at 5000 Central Avenue Southeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The motel is vacant and in disrepair. A streetlight is leaning over piles of wooden boards near a cement wall around the swimming pool. The roof of the motel has caved in in the background. A sign over one part of the still-intact roof reads, "Welcome to Albuquerque Desert Sands."
