DescriptionPeople walk in the Muertas y Marigolds Parade on Isleta Boulevard in South Valley, Albuquerque, New Mexico. They are carrying signs and banners that read "¡Nuestro voto es un muro contra racismo!" (Our vote is a wall against racism); "Su voto es su voz" (Your vote is your voice); "Somos el muro" (We are the wall); and "Tu voz cuenta" (Your voice counts). The parade participants are wearing face paint for Day of the Dead with their faces painted as skulls or half of their faces as skulls. Several of them carry brightly colored tissue paper marigolds.
