DescriptionThis brush has bristles attached to a flat piece of wood that is slightly darker on top than on the rest of the brush. The brush has two different bristles, with an outer rim of coarser bristles. Carved on to the top of the brush is the label "The Rio Grande Woolen Mills Co. Albuquerque N.M." in all-capitalized letters. On the side of the brush is also a faded carving that reads "Made in Germany" also capitalized. The brush fits inside a two-piece, rich brown cognac-colored leather case. The inner case is half the length of the outer portion. One edge has a square bottom that is stamped with the number “15.” It is stitched vertically up the center line. The outer sleeve has a square end and is stitched vertically up the center line. At the open end, there is a half circle cut-out from the top and bottom so that they can fit around the brush.
