DescriptionThe gravestone of Mary S. Bennett lies in pieces on the ground in the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, New Mexico. The marble slab has cracked in half and is lying in the dirt, the top of the slab is resting on the stone foundation of another gravesite. Engraved into the marble are the words, "Sacred to the memory of Mary S. wife of John Bennett died August 31, 1885".
