DescriptionA street scene in Columbus, New Mexico. There are four shop building with storefronts facing a paved road. Faded and peeling paint is visible above the store entrances in the building near the right of the frame. Faint writing reads, "U-S Market". A flagpole with no flag attached is on top of the building. No vehicles are parked on the street, but the shadow of the photographer is in the lower left corner of the frame. A two-story white stucco building with a wooden balcony off the front of the second floor is in the background, near the left of the frame. A utility pole and power lines are strung across the street, between the shops in the foreground and the two-story stucco building in the background. On View
