DescriptionThis guitar is a six-string with a classical-body that has been painted with bronze paint. There is a scene painted on the guitar in black paint that shows a conquistador in profile standing amid saguaro and other cacti, who is staring off into the distance. The conquistador is holding a fist, with a Zia symbol painted right next to it. In the background on the right side of the guitar is a mission-style church. There is Pueblo pottery in the foreground. Also painted on the guitar is "New Mexico 1540-1940" and "Cuarto Centennial" in different fonts with the first line being above the center of the guitar, and the second being bellow. The guitar is worn and damaged along the edges of the body and along the back of the neck area. The frets are also worn, with signs of use over time.On View
