DescriptionAn example of the artist's self-styled "vapor drawings," this image features alternating vertical columns of gray and purple set in the middle of the sheet on which they are afixed. The three gray columns progress from a yellow hue at bottom to a blue tone in the middle, to light gray toward their upper ends. The color is sufficiently diffused at the upper ends that they blend into the surrounding page. The color difficusion of the two other columns, which are interspersed with the gray, proceeds from top to bottom -- in the opposite direction as the first examples. Beginning at their upper ends, they transition from violet to dark gay to the same white as the page at bottom. On View
