DescriptionA painting depicting a small plaza in the foreground and the sun rising behind mountains in the background. The buildings on the left side and in the center of the plaza are shrouded in darkness, with light emanating from a doorway in the building on the left. Silhouettes of figures walk around the plaza, entering and exiting buildings and carrying objects. Tan buildings with red roofs are lined up on the right, and more red, sloped roofs extending off into the background. The plaza is surrounded by dark green vegetation and palm trees.
