DescriptionThese are two radio reports. The first, "The Georgelle Durcan Story", is a three-part series on the attempts of Georgelle Durcan to marry Richard Wayne Greer, one of four men convicted of, and later acquited of the murder of William Velton, Jr., in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Georgelle Durcan tells her own story of her relationship with Greer and her process of getting into the prison reform movement. This program was aired on KMYR on January 20-22, 1975.

The second, "Poor Man's Friend" is a two-part report dealing with unemployment in Albuquerque and revisiting the Great Depression. Both series are reported by Zane Blaney.
