DescriptionAn employee of Sid Cutter's World Balloon Corporation sews a segment of a hot air balloon envelope in a warehouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The employee sits at a sewing machine and runs the fabric through the machine. Three bobbins of string are on the machine table. More fabric is hung around the walls in the background. Some of the balloon envelopes are in large bags in the back corner. A desk lamp lights the work area for the employee. A typed caption on the bottom of the photograph reads, "One of Cutter's employees sews a segment of a hot-air balloon." Photographer: Tony Barnard for Los Angeles TimesOn View
