DescriptionThe demolition of the Franciscan Hotel at 601 West Central Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two people stand at the corner of the street and look at the piles of rubble at the foot of the multi-story hotel. The corners of the building are destroyed, but the hotel remains standing. The women wait at a crosswalk. The photographer took the photograph while inside a car and the steering wheel and rear-view mirror are visible in the foreground.
