DescriptionCactus Motel at 5930 Central Avenue Southwest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Highway 66, A reproduction of the motel’s neon sign in the sky area on the upper right of the card shows a green-painted saguaro with the word "CACTUS" on the upright. A rectangular sign that says "MOTEL" in white against a black background is below the cactus, and on the right are the words “Free T-V In Rooms” against an orange background. This sign is also visible to the left of the card, between the image of the office and the street. The motel is a pair of one-story adobe-style buildings, with yellow awnings on the windows that face the street. In front of the office and beside the neon sign are a group signs indicating motel amenities, including baby cribs and air conditioning. Trees and shrubs are planted around the buildings. Lawn chairs are placed between the buildings and the street. On View
