DescriptionBow and Arrow Lodge at 8300 Central Avenue Southeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A dual-image postcard of the lodge. The photo in the upper left corner is of a room with two full-size beds covered in orange bedspreads, a yellow curtain over the window, one lamp on bedside table between the beds, and a second lamp on the desk. A television with an antenna is in the front corner of the room. The second photo on the postcard shows the exterior of the motel, with a tall, neon sign in orange, blue and white reading "Bow & Arrow Lodge, TV, Phones, Low Rates, Vacancy". Several smaller signs indicate ATA, plus MasterCard, Visa, and Diner's Club. Two people sit in lawn chairs under mature trees. There are automobiles parked along the left and right sides of the property. The office is to the left of the image, with an American flag and a neon sign saying OFFICE on the roof line. Writing on the back reads, “Dear Ethel: Went out to Dicks this PM. Went to shopping center tonight. We are going to Mountains tomorrow. Dick is going up with us. Meals seem to be working fine so far. Haydon is doing OK. He is watching TV now. It was sunny today – hope it is tomorrow. Haven’t called Kay yet. May run by her shop tomorrow. Love, Haydon and Jeanette.”On View
