Portrait of Nicolas T. Armijo, Jr. He was the son of Nicolas T. Armijo and Barbara Chaves. After his father’s death in 1890, his mother built the N.T. Armijo Building at 2^nd Street and Central Avenue in his father’s honor. Nicolas, Jr., grew up to manage the building, which held the downtown Walgreen Drug Company.
