BiographyWanda Aragon is an award-winning potter and daughter of Frances Pino Torivio. In the 1960s, Wanda began making pottery owls. In the 1970s, she made her first Storyteller. She is also known for her Nativities and large canteens. She is the sister of Marie Lilly Salvador and Ruth Paisano; wife of Marvis Aragon, Sr; mother of Clarise Aragon and mother-in-law of Delores Aragon. She started making pottery around 1965 and is known for polychrome ollas, jars, bowls, wedding vases, bird effigy pots, owl figures, Nativities, canteens, human figures, miniatures, and storytellers.
