BiographyOne of the forerunners of the pop art movement Nicholas Krushenick was born in 1929 in New York. He attended the Art Students League of New York from 1948 to 1950 before attending the Hans Hofmann School of Art in 1951. His first public show in New York was in 1957. From 1977 to 1991 he taught at the university of Maryland in College Park. Kruschenick dies in New York in 1999.
