Raul Madero Gonzales

1888 - 1982
BiographyGeneral Raul Madero was in Texas with his brother, Francisco I. Madero, when his brother proclaimed the revolution on Nov. 20, 1910. They returned to Mexico to find that groups of rebels had already taken up arms under the leadership of Pancho Villa.

In 1911, General Madero led the troops that marched on Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso. There he met up with Pancho Villa, and the two fought together in the decisive victory over Government troops in the northern state of Zacatecas in 1914.
