BiographyKyle Crichton was a noted fiction writer, playwright, and leftist political columnist and commentator whose career flourished from the late 1920s through the 1940s. He was an editor at Collier's, a magazine that featured short fiction and leftist political news
analysis, and a columnist for The New Masses, a Communist weekly. He also published biographies of the New Mexico sheriff Elfego Baca and of the Marx Brothers. He wrote his political articles under the pen name "Robert Forsythe."
