Label Text:Eudora Montoya participated in a mid-century revival of pottery making at Santa Ana Pueblo. Ms. Montoya led a second revival in 1972, teaching a class of seventeen students. In 1974 she traveled with a Pueblo delegation to visit President and Mrs. Nixon at the White House. They presented the couple with examples of their finest pottery, and even offered pottery making tips to First Lady Patricia Nixon.
