Description"Gold Dollar", Grand Champion Stallion in the Palomino Stock Class. The horse is owned by J. W. Shoemaker of Watrous, New Mexico. Mrs. Leon H. Harms, Secretary-Treasurer of the New Mexico Palomino Exhibitors Assocation (NMPEA); C. J. Fisher, President of NMPEA; and J. W. Shoemaker stand in a line at the head of the horse. Shoemaker holds the lead and Fisher holds the trophy. The horse is a light colored brown with a white mane and white tail. They are all standing in the outdoor show ring at the Livestock Barn of the State Fairgrounds. Spectators can be seen around the outside of the show ring.
