DescriptionA Zuni Polychrome jar with a high shoulder, slightly outcurved rim, recessed base, and a design consisting of panels of deer in profile with heart line motifs and rectangular panels of curvilinear, geometric designs. Made of coiled clay with a white slipped and polished surface; black and red paint. The jar has a line break on the rim. The maker is unknown.
