DescriptionA 47-star American flag made of linen with metallic gold fringed edge tassels at the end that is opposite of the stars. The flag includes a two-part flag pole, oilcloth carrying case, and fringe trimmed tassels with pole point. The significance of the 47-stars is that it commerates when New Mexico became a state in Janurary of 1912. Only a small number of 47-star flags were created and few continue to exist today.
