DescriptionTwo men are in the cockpit of a twin-engine aircraft at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the center frame, there is a right-side facing plane with two men seated side by side in the cockpit. They are dressed in flying gear.

Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Command & headquarters ship of the 11th Bombardment Squadron, 7th Bomb. Grp. Rockwell Field, San Diego, Calif. 1st C. H. Howard the squadron's commanding officer is seen in the foreground and on his left is seated, Mr. Dean Blake, meteorologist of the U.S. Department of Commerce at San Diego, Calif. Mr. Blake, known as the flying weatherman, accompanies the 11th Squadron on the Annual Air Corps Maneuvers."
