DescriptionThe painted siign on Hangar #2 at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A large sign is being painted on the top of the large hangar building. On the right, there is a man standing on scaffolding at the top front of the building holding a bucket of paint. The large sign has a Shell logo at the top and below that reads, "Aircraft Holdings, Inc." and "Visiting Ships". Below the sign and inside the open door there is a parked aircraft with registration number NC16741. Three are three other aircraft inside. Along the walls there are several large windows letting in a lot of light.
Handwriting on the front of the photograph reads, "Hangar #2 1935".
Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Hangar #2 100 feet deep w/span of 120 feet, door height was 20', could accommodate any aircraft of that day. Concrete blocks w/steel beams and built up roof. NC16741".
