DescriptionOpen mortise & tenon construction table. The base is made of new wood with "I" shaped center stretcher. The stretcher has saw tooth design on one side. The top is constructed of 2 hand adzed Colonial period boards which are joined to the base with open mortise & tenon construction. The tenons are set at an angle in the top. A brass tag attached to the inside top on one leg reads "N.M. State Records Center 518." The mortise & tenon attachment on the top and base has been reinforced with glue around the tops of the table legs. The bottom of the table is incised with large "M."On View
