DescriptionAn office space in the New York Life Insurance Company in the N.T. Armijo Building located at 201-207 West Railroad Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Wooden chairs, rolltop desks, a typewriter, and a safe fill the floor. The walls have a multiple picture frames hanging and there are two chandeliers hung from the ceiling. Two men sit in chairs. One looks down as a piece of paper and the other looks at him while he leans back in his chair. There is an iron fence in the back of the room with another man standing behind it. He also looks toward the man sitting reading a paper. The man behind the fence wears a straw boater hat, has a large mustache, and wears a suit. The sitting men have short hair parted to the side and is slicked back. They also wear suits. In front of the fence is a picture frame on an easel.

Railroad Avenue's name was changed around 1908 to what is now Central Avenue. Central Avenue also overlaps with the historic Route 66.
