DescriptionA single-story adobe home stands in the valley of desert mesas in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Arthur Ross stands outside the ranch home with his two horses strapped to a wooden wagon.The benches of the cart have striped woven blankets draped over them. Arthur wears a homburg hat, dark suit jacket and pants. He has a large beard. A handmade post and barbed wire fence surrounds the home. A plank of wood and log posts were used to construct a front door covering. The Arthur Ross ranch was located in the southern end of Albuquerque near the railroad tracks. He was the eldest son of governor Edmund G Ross.
Emulsion flaking and loss is occurring along the top of the glass plate.
