DescriptionA pair of forceps used for cutting bones. Larger tools such as saws and liston knives are used for cutting medium to large bones. Bone forceps are used for cutting small bones, such as those in the hands and feet. The curved blades allow the forceps to be manipulated enough to avoid damage to the surrounging tissue. Bone forceps have undergone very little change in design from the civil war to the modern day.
