DescriptionA half-curved needle used for skin suturing, capable both for medical and veterinary uses. The needle is half-curved, where the handle is straight until the blade, where it curves upward. The length indicates the specification of the needle; this needle is 1.5 inches, so it is a Size 12 half-curved needle. The blunt end is eyed, so thread would be tied to it. Half-curved needles combine the advantages of curved and straight needles, and are used frequently in lacroscopic surgery.
