    DescriptionA red abalone circular shell with marked natural patterns in the center and lighter parts in its edges. Although likely a learning prop, shells of this category were usually transported by traders from the Pacific to the Rio Grande via ancestral trade routes highlighting the long distance trade that came to New Mexico.
