    DescriptionFolsom points are named after their site of discovery at Folsom, New Mexico. This particular point was acquistioned from the Frontierland Museum in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. It is a light cream-colored petrified wood shaped into a point with raised sections and a darker toned tip. This point was most likely used for hunting smaller game such as antelope and deer.
