DescriptionThe removal of the streetcar or trolley tracks from beneath the pavement of Central Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The asphalt from the road has been removed and the dirt below it has been exposed. Various pieces of metal trolley tracks have been bent and misshapen. Many of these pieces are partially buried in the dirt. A large tractor and several construction workers can be seen removing the tracks in the midground of the image. Numerous businesses can be seen along the left side of the photograph an a partially full parking lot can be seen on the right side.On View
