Description3rd Annual Fire School in Raton, New Mexico on June 13-15, 1932. A practice wooden fire tower structure is in center with one man climbing up a rope. A man is rapelling down the front of the fire tower while ten people watch from the ground. Some are kneeling and some standing. The man on the left has on a dark uniform and hat. Next to him is a man with uniform that says "Bill Phillips Service Station". A child is also watching in the center. To the right is a man wearing a shirt that says "Mission Orange". There are buildings and trees in the background.
