Description1. The beautiful, towering Sandia Mts. tell us that we are not to far from Albuquerque.

2. The Sandia Mts. house the world's highest television towers - those belonging to Albuquerque's 3 commercial & one educational channel.

3. Albuquerque, located in the geographical center of the Southwest, is one of the nation's oldest inland communities. It was named for the Duke of Albuquerque, Viceroy of New Spain. At 5,314 feet elecation, it is the highest metropolitan city in America. Population (metropolitan) about 350,000.

4. University of New Mexico, founded in 1889, today has 10 colleges, & 60 permanent buildings, on a 440 acre campus, with approximately 20,000 enrollment. This is the Administration Building.
