DescriptionThe image depicts the Iceberg Cafe and Service Station on U.S. Highway 66 on East Central in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building itself is built to resemble two icebergs with pointed tips stretching upwards. Along the sides are two doors and numerous windows running along the outside of the cafe. The building is sat on a gravel lot with a road partially visible towards the bottom of the photograph. In front of and behind the cafe are power lines running overhead. A small covered car park is sitting to the left of the building with several cars parked in it. To the right of the cafe are three gas pumps with cars parked alongside the building. In front of the cafe, on both the right and left sides, are several tall signs. The one on the left says "Good Eats. Cafe. Home Cooking". The various signs on the right state "Iceberg Cafe. Ethyl 29 1/2. Regular 271/2. Truck Stop 24hrs. Other signs state " Veedol Motor Oil. Quaker State Motor Oil. Have Your Car Greased & Oil Changed While You Eat. Home Cooked Meals: Fried Chicken, Steaks and Chops".
