DescriptionA Mallet articulated compound locomotive sits on the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe tracks. The locomotive was the largest in the world when the postcard was created. The engine is painted black and is engine number 3000. Handwriting on the back reads, "9-9-11 Winslow, Ariz. Got your dandy card to-day; thank you. I wish I could have seen it. I bet it was fine. Dandy weather here now. Everything going along fine. Best regards to all. Sincerely, J Hampson alias Farmer".
