DescriptionA postcard announcing the completed remodeling of the Franciscan Hotel at Central Avenue and Sixth Street in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The front of the postcard has a drawing of the five-story adobe hotel in a dark bubble. The advertisement reads "Announcing the completion of our remodeling program--all rooms with private bath (tub and shower or shower) -- redecorated, refurnished, new carpets. $2.00, $2.50 and $3.00". The back of the postcard has a stamp and is postmarked. The note is from the manager of the hotel, William Dismukes, and reads "I'ts just like coming to a new hotel -- stop and see us on your next trip.".On View
