DescriptionA program for a "Hard Luck Party" presented by the Zia Athletic Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on December 13. It was a party for Works Progress Administration employees and their dates, held at Gonzales Hall. Guests are required to dress as "Hobos" and the front of the program is covered in rules and instructions, including "Leave your dignity at home" and "This is a Hard Luck Party, so the worse you look, the better we will like you!". The interior of the program includes a map to Gonzales Hall and a "Popularity Contest Ballot", with the winners typed in their respective categories. Joy Yeck Fincke McWilliams is listed as "Best Sport".
