DescriptionA large bulto or santo of San Felipe Neri from the San Felipe de Neri Church in Old Town, Albuquerque. Most likely Mexican or possibly Spanish, late 18th-early 19th century. The worn areas expose early paint, gilding, and estofado.

Formerly in the collections of San Felipe de Neri Church, Cleto Duran, and Adan Carriaga of Old Town. Created sometime after Fray Francisco Atanasio Dominguez's 1776 inventory of San Felipe de Neri Church, since it is not described in the church's inventory. Overpainted sometime before the 1950s-1960s when it was given to Duran.
